Тема заседания: Технология Cloud Computing в контексте проблем надежности и безопасности бизнес-критических приложений.

1. Кандидат технических наук, доцент Маевский Дмитрий Андреевич (кафедра теоретических основ и общей электротехники, Одесский национальный политехнический университет). Динамика программных систем (ПС) и моделирование их надежности:
- введение в теорию динамики ПС: потоки дефектов, их происхождение, взаимодействие;
- связь характеристик потоков с показателями надежности;
- виды ПС с точки зрения динамики; линейные и нелинейные системы;
- моделирование потоков дефектов в ПС второго порядка; устойчивость ПС;
- сравнительные результаты моделирования надежности реальных систем.

1. Overview

This course (hereinafter TCS) is intended for students of mostly IT-related departments who plan to gain their skills in SW testing and QA. TCS is based on the mandatory scope of knowledge for Certified Test Engineers (ISTQB) and consists of two parts: theoretical and practical which are delivering in parallel to accelerate learning process.

Despite being planned as optional, TCS provides students with a strong background for further adjusting their professional level of testing to the current industrial standards.

Основные направления работы семинара связаны с анализом, моделированием, проектированием, испытаниями, производством, экспертизой и эксплуатацией компьютерных средств, систем, сетей и ИТ-инфраструктур для критических и коммерческих приложений с учетом требований к надежности, живучести, функциональной и информационной безопасности.

Научный руководитель семинара – заслуженный изобретатель Украины, доктор технических наук, профессор заведующий кафедрой компьютерных систем и сетей (№503) Харченко Вячеслав Сергеевич.

Тема заседания: Принцип диверсности и проблемы функциональной и информационной безопасности: методы, технологии и реализация.

Tempus project “MSc and PhD studies in Aerospace Critical Computing” is executed by the National Aerospace University, Kharkiv, Ukraine with the support of Newcastle University and City University of London, UK and Åbo Akademi University, Turku, Finland.

Plural nature of IT-technologies and computer (SW&HW-based) systems (CS):
1) factor of improving quality & convenience of everyday life level;
2) mean of increasing quality & reliability & safety of critical applications (software- and FPGA-based systems);
3) cause of new challenges and deficits of safety.

Known facts
1980s -1990s: 20% crashes of space systems were caused by CSs (SW faults - 85%);
1998-2005: 17-21% NPP equipment failures were caused by I&C systems;
2000-2008 (preliminary analysis): CS failures called forth approximately 50% (SW faults -16,6%, HW faults -33,3%) crashes or deferred starts of space systems
